The Impact of AI blog series began with a simple question: how will AI change the work we do? Along the way, that question led somewhere quite different: an exploration of how people and organisations continuously build capability, judgement and wisdom in a world of accelerating change.
This session is both a retrospective and a live experiment. Simon will share the journey behind the blog series, the ideas and observations that emerged, and the Frontier Capability Organisation model that grew from them. More importantly, he’ll invite the audience to help challenge, refine and test whether these ideas have real-world value, whether they resonate with individuals and organisations, and whether they represent a direction worth exploring together.
Context switching, and how to survive it

Context switching is unavoidable in the tech industry, but unmanaged it quietly destroys focus, productivity and decision quality across teams (as well as morale!).
This talk breaks down the real cost of constant interruptions and gives practical, tested strategies to protect deep work, structure workflows and stay effective in high-interruption environments. We’ll also learn how to say “no” more.
Not everyone’s brain is the same, and this is taken into account when providing new habit suggestions.
